Release notes

Documentation is updated before each release, so the rest of this site always describes the current product. This page records what changed.

This release reworks how you sign in and out, brings full support-ticket conversations to the mobile app, and adds exporting and better filtering to the Review Center.

  • Unlock with biometrics or a PIN. After your first SSO sign-in on a device, the app can unlock with your face, fingerprint, or a PIN instead of a full SSO round trip every time. You manage it all from Settings: switch between biometrics and PIN, change your PIN, or remove the lock entirely. Your setup survives signing out; a different user on the same device still starts fresh. Too many failed biometric attempts locks the shortcut and asks you to sign in with SSO again. See Faster sign-in.
  • Open the dashboard from the app without signing in twice. Choosing Open Dashboard in the app now lands you in the dashboard already signed in as the same user, with no second SSO prompt.
  • A Blue Cromos sign-in screen. The shared sign-in screen now carries the Blue Cromos look on both the mobile app and the dashboard, instead of a generic identity-provider page.
  • Role changes take effect while you are signed in. When your role changes, the new permissions apply within seconds, without signing out and back in. A reduced role immediately closes the screens it no longer covers.
  • Follow the whole conversation in the app. The mobile app now matches the dashboard: open My support tickets, read the full reply thread, and post follow-ups with attachments, without switching to the web.
  • Send failed captures as a ticket. After repeated capture failures in a session, the app offers to submit the failed images as a pre-filled support ticket, during the session or when it ends.
  • Manage what you have sent. You can delete a reply you sent in a ticket conversation, or delete one of your own tickets outright, with a confirmation step.
  • The ticket form now uses the same wording on the dashboard and in the app, with a set of small fixes to the form and the image viewer.

See Getting support.

  • Export the review queue. Analysts can export the current Review Center selection as a CSV, or request a ZIP that bundles the matching images with an index file. The ZIP builds in the background; a notification delivers a secure, time-limited download link when it is ready.
  • Filter by several ROI types at once. The ROI-type filter is now multi-select, so choosing one type no longer hides the others.
  • Dismiss a single notification. A close control on each notification clears it, and its unread count, from your own view, on both the dashboard and the mobile app.
  • Dashboard images no longer gradually stop loading the longer the service runs.
  • CSV exports from Live Events now include events captured in offline mode, with the correct status shown for each.

This release brings the mobile app to iPhone, and refines how a failed result reads and how the product is named in the dashboard.

  • Now on iPhone. The mobile app is available on iOS as well as Android, so you can capture and authenticate from an iPhone. iOS 18 or later is required.
  • Failed results now read as “Not Authentic”. A product that fails a check is labelled Not Authentic across the dashboard — in the event list, event detail, and analytics — instead of “Counterfeit”. Your tenant can still customise the wording per product.
  • Consistent “isAuthentic” naming. The dashboard now shows the product name isAuthentic throughout, including in the browser tab title.
  • Tidier menu on phones. On a narrow screen, the dashboard’s slide-out menu now reads as one continuous sidebar rather than a split list and pinned footer.

This release brings offline capture to the mobile app, support tickets you can raise from inside the product, and a notifications surface in the dashboard, alongside a set of dashboard and capture improvements.

  • Capture without a connection. You can run a full authentication or data-collection session with no network. Sessions are saved on the device and upload automatically when you are back online, or when you sync them yourself.
  • Event History. A new screen lists your recent and pending captures on the device, each with its status. Sync a single session or all pending work at once, revisit results, give feedback, or remove a session.
  • Offline toggle and bad-network detection. Switch offline mode on from the header, with an indicator that stays visible while it is on. With it off, the app warns you when the connection is too poor to work and points you to offline mode.

See Working offline.

  • A flashlight toggle in the camera view to light a scan, in both capture modes.
  • You can give feedback at capture time, even offline — it is submitted when the session syncs.
  • A refreshed look, with light and night themes.
  • The home screen is now a main menu with Authenticate, Data Collection, Event History, and Open Dashboard; account and app settings move under a settings gear.
  • Raise a support ticket from inside the product — from the mobile app’s Settings or the dashboard’s Support page. Give it a subject, category, description, and attachments, then follow the reply in the same thread. This replaces the previous email-based support flow. See Getting support.
  • Notifications. A bell in the header tells you about planned maintenance before downtime and what changed after a release, with an unread indicator and a list of recent messages.
  • Remove an event from its detail view — for example when a capture contains inappropriate or sensitive content. You can remove your own completed events.
  • Zoom and pan evidence images to inspect detail on an event.
  • A unified, larger brand logo, and a range of layout fixes on smaller screens (sidebar, page headings, and the theme switcher).
  • Stability and capture fixes, including a launch crash on some older Android devices and clearer handling of captures made on a poor connection.

The first release focuses on more accurate authentication, better image-quality handling, and a clearer review experience across the mobile app and the dashboard.

  • Low-light detection using the device’s ambient-light sensor.
  • Blur detection.
  • Tilt detection, catching products tilted during capture.

These give authentication a cleaner image to work from, so results are more reliable.

  • Simplified result feedback — accept or reject a result and add a comment after capturing.
  • Clearer handling of different product types and result labels.
  • An update prompt when the app is out of date — if a newer version is available on Google Play, the app asks you to update before continuing, so you are always on the supported version. (Android)
  • New Review Center for inspecting and validating events.
  • Improved overall dashboard design and usability.
  • Better data visibility and event tracking.
  • Added Polish translations (mobile app).
  • Better support for different device types and screen sizes.
