Using the dashboard

The dashboard is where your team monitors brand health, investigates authentication events, and reviews flagged results. What you see depends on your role: inspectors see Overview, Live Events, and Profile; analysts add Analytics, Review Center and Usage consumption; supervisors add Usage limits and KPIs.

Timestamps in tables are shown in UTC where the interface notes a timezone.

Overview gives you the fastest read on tenant activity. Pick a reporting window with the date picker, then scan:

  • Summary cards — total events and the key outcome rates for the period.
  • Authentication trends — volume and outcome mix over time, so you can spot spikes or drops.
  • Map activity — where events are concentrated geographically.
  • Recent events — the latest records, with a link through to the full Live Events list.
  • System health — current operational status.

The summary cards, trend chart, and map all follow the selected date range.

Analytics is the reporting layer for analysts.

  • Insights — key metrics, authentication trend charts, and geography views across a date range, with controls for trend mode, brand, location, and the metric shown. Set the date range first, then drill in.
  • Brands — compares the brands you track: events, products, and outcome totals per brand, with a searchable, sortable list. Open a brand to compare its products and find the ones that need record-level investigation.

KPIs is where supervisors track inspector activity against a target. An analyst sees it only once a supervisor grants them access. It has two views:

  • Inspectors — each inspector’s authentications against their target, with a status of on pace, behind, or critical, across your team. Open an inspector to see their daily pace and history. Supervisors also create KPIs here: a target, a period (day, week, month, or a custom range), and a scope (specific inspectors, brands, or products). Granting an analyst KPI access happens here too.
  • Coverage — authentications per product and brand against a threshold you set, so you can spot products and brands with little or no activity.

Inspectors see their own fulfillment and coverage on the mobile app’s Home screen.

Usage tracks how many requests your tenant has spent against its monthly limit. One request is one image authentication of one region of interest.

  • Consumption — your usage against the limit, a trend view, and a breakdown by brand and product. Analysts and supervisors both see it.
  • Limits — supervisors only. Set the monthly request limit and the alert thresholds, and read the log of alerts that have fired.

Live Events is the main investigation list. It holds both authentication and data-collection records and updates in near real time.

  • Search starts after a short pause and needs at least two characters.
  • Date picker filters by the time a record was created; clear it to see all records.
  • Column menu controls which columns are visible.
  • Export CSV downloads the current selection (see Exporting).
  • Pagination moves between pages.

You can filter by:

  • Status — Authentic, Not Authentic, Uncertain, Error.
  • State — Pending, In Progress, Completed, Expired.
  • Event type — Authentication or Data Collection.
  • Brand, Product, and SKU.
  • Tags, Device model, and Location.
  • Inspector (analysts only).

Use Clear all to reset the staged sheet, or Clear filters to remove the filters currently applied.

The first page updates as new records arrive. If you are on an older page when new records come in, a banner lets you load the latest without losing your place.

The Review Center is available to analysts. It is where you resolve the records that need a human decision — those the system marked Uncertain and those where an inspector disagreed with the result.

Summary cards show totals for pending review, completed, and disagreed records. Filter to the queue state you need, then open a record to see its full context in the detail drawer:

  • The captured image (or a placeholder when none is available).
  • Badges for the review state, the reason it was queued, and the record type.
  • A record summary: brand, product, who captured it, when, location, device, and current status.
  • A link to open the related event for deeper investigation.
  • Inspector feedback — the submitted verdict, any note, and who submitted it.
  • Analyst review — who reviewed it, when, the decision, and any note.

When a record is waiting for review you can add an optional note, submit your decision from the drawer, and move to the previous or next record without closing it.

You can export the current Review Center selection in two forms:

  • CSV — the record metadata, downloaded straight away.
  • Image ZIP — the matching captured images bundled with an index file. The ZIP builds in the background; a notification delivers a secure, time-limited download link when it is ready.

Both follow the filters you have applied, so narrow the queue first.

Profile shows your tenant membership and sign-in details — your name, email, tenant, role, member-since date, and last login. It is read-only; account and role changes are managed by your organisation.

A notification bell sits in the header, next to the theme toggle. A red dot marks unread messages; open the bell to read them and the dot clears. Messages cover planned maintenance — a heads-up before the platform is taken down for an update — and what changed after a release. Each message shows a title, the details, and the time it applies. A maintenance heads-up disappears once the window starts; a what-changed-after-a-release message stays until you dismiss it. Read state is tied to your account rather than the browser, and each notification has a close control that dismisses it from your own view — in the dashboard and the mobile app alike.

Export CSV from Live Events downloads the current result set. The export follows the filters you have applied and the columns you have made visible.

Export availability depends on your role; if you do not see the option, contact your administrator.

Investigating: start on Overview to see whether activity changed → use Analytics > Insights for trends and geography → use Analytics > Brands when the question is brand- or product-specific → open Live Events to isolate records → open an event for evidence and context → export CSV to share the filtered view.

Reviewing: open the Review Center → filter to the queue state you need → review each record’s evidence and context → submit the decision your role requires.
